Garrison & colleagues receive NEH grant

Dr. Mark Garrison and collaborators at the University of Chicago were awarded a $350,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to establish a digital archive of clay tablets and fragments from the Persepolis excavation. Since the legal custody of the tablets is in dispute, the rapid and effective archiving and dissemination to be carried out with this funding will assure continued availability of these artifacts to researchers.
